Examples of financial aid you may be eligible for include:
- Federal Pell Grant
Considered a basis of federal student aid, the Pell Grant — unlike a loan — does not have to be repaid. Pell Grants are usually awarded to undergraduate students. The maximum award for the 2008-2009 school term is $4,731. - Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (FSEOG)
The FSEOG is for undergraduate students with extreme financial need. Those whom receive the Pell Grant with the smallest expected family contributions will be considered first for a FSEOG. - Federal Academic Competitiveness Grant (ACG)
The ACG provides an award for the fist and second year of undergraduate studies to recipients of the Pell Grant whom successfully completed a rigorous high school program. - Federal Stafford Student Loan
The William D. Ford Federal Direct Loan (Direct Loan) and the Federal Family Education Loan (FFEL), both of which are commonly know as Stafford Loans. These are awarded based on your financial need and may be subsidized or unsubsidized. - State Student Assistance Programs
State Student Assistance Programs vary from state to state and may include loans, grants and scholarships. - Loans, Grants and Scholarships
A variety of Grants, Loans and Scholarships are available from a variety of private sources including corporations, institutions, community groups, and more.
These are only a sample of the types of financial aid that you may be eligible for. Student financial aid eligibility is determined on a case-by-case basis.
