Employment Outlook for Health Science

According to the U.S. Department of Labor, "Wage and salary employment in the health care industry is projected to increase 22 percent through 2016." Academic Requirements

The online courses in health science are designed for prospective students who are a high school graduate OR have the equivalent GED (General Education Development Certificate).

After meeting this qualification, applicants must also fulfill one of the following criteria:

  1. Achieved a satisfactory score on one of the college entrance examinations (SAT, ACT or CPT, which is the placement test used by South University) OR
  2. Earned 30 college quarter credit hours (20 college semester credit hours), with a cumulative GPA of 2.0
