South University was established in 1899 when Dr. John Draughon founded Draughon's Practical Business College in Savannah, Georgia. Currently, South University is comprised of six campus locations and online programs offered through the Savannah campus. Our campus locations are located in:

South University Online Programs

Designed for adult students, South University’s online programs are built on the same curriculum offered at our campus locations. Students enrolled in one of our online programs receive the same level of instruction, academic support, quality education and degree as students at our on-ground campuses.

South University is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools to award associate, baccalaureate, masters, and doctorate degrees.
